Our holiday apartment is in the select urbanisation of Calahonda, 10 mins from Marbella and 30mins from Malaga airport.
Bonita Hills is 3 year old community with approx. 90 apartments arranged around 2 pools (1 heated) and beautiful tropical gardens which give an exclusive feel. Most properties are privately owned as is ours by foreigners who use them as holiday homes with about 10-15 full time residents. A small proprotion are let out so we still retain a private feel and the pool areas are rarely crowded even in the peak seasons.
This spacious home (120m2) comprises 3 bedrooms (1 dbl with bathroom ensuite,2 twin with shared bathroom) an open plan living/dining area and fully fitted and kitted kitchen.
We have sunny balconies on 3 sides of the property overlooking a valley and panoramic views of the Mediterranean over the Port of Cabopino.
We are in easy drive to miles of beaches and the night life of Marbella 10mins, Puerto Banus 20mins, Fuengirola 15minsor the 'White Town' Mijas 25 mins. Bonita Hills is set back a 5 minute drive up from the main Costa del Sol coast road on a hillside. We are serviced by an hourly bus/train which takes you down to the shops and beaches if you prefer not to drive.
All mod-cons are available, TV, CD player, microwave, hairdryers etc. and we have climate control.
Allthough this is a holiday home we have equipted the house to a high standard as most of the fixtures and fittings came from our own home which we sold to buy an hotel which was fully furnished.
This is a very quiet community and you need to go ou to find the hussle and bussle. There are 2 or 3 good restaurants a 10 min. walk or a 5 minute drive down to the 'strip' at Calahonda provides a livelier evening.
We have visited loads of great places especially the 'Fiestas' that seem to run all summer town to town.
The Beaches are great to explore and find different chiriguitos along the coast with great seafood It is very much a multinational area also with lots of locals enjoying the beaches.
