About our home

This appartment is situated in a new neighbourhood, next to the university, that's why it is very quiet in the summer. There are parks and supermarkets in the surroundings. The appartment is wide and full of light, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms are connected to a big terrace where you can have nice summer dinners. Two of the bedrooms have double beds. I love cooking so you can find everything to cook in the kitchen. There is also air conditioning for the hot days in the summer.

More about us

  1. I'm 29 year old and I work in the marketing department of a manufacturer company of ceramic tiles. I did my first exchange on August '09 and it was a great experience for both parts. I think it's a good way of travelling and getting to know the way of living in the place you go. I'm responsible, helpful, friendly and clean.

Where is it?

Castellón is a medium-size town in the Mediterranean coast of Spain. It has a large beach in the mediterranean sea and a sunny weather most of the year. In the harbour you can find lots of restaurants specialized in rice, fish and seafood, where you can taste several types of paella in its place of origin, while you stare at the ships and take a sunbath. Next to Castellón there is Benicásim, which is a beautiful village between the sea and the mountain, with great beaches, restaurants and nightlife in the summer. Another interesting places you can reach easily from Castellón, are Peñíscola, Morella or Valencia. The train station is five minutes far walking. From there you can go to the main cities like Valencia (1 hour), Barcelona (2,5 hours) or Madrid (4 hours). I strongly recomend to get a car because the public transport is not as good at it should be. The nearest airport is Valencia, but you can also take a flight to Alicante, Reus or Barcelona.
