“Just back from our (me, my wife and little Borys 6 years old) non-simultaneous holiday exchange with Jim I would like to praise the welcome and the apartment from all my heart. We were flying into Malaga very late in the evening and Jim even offered to pick us up from the airport should we miss the last bus (more than an hour drive!). But we managed and on the dot, he was waiting for us with a friendly welcome at the Granada bus station to pick us up and drive us to his home to give us a tour with all explanations. Extensive documentation about apartment, neighborhood, restaurants, Arabic baths and what to do, including perks like a charged bus pass for the town. Great and very comfortable apartment paying attention even to the smallest details. Wonderful pool in the courtyard which Borys also enjoyed a lot. Also car exchange without problems so we could drive to wonderful Nerja beach and have a good time. Bus to the center of Granada (and the bus station) basically just around the corner and one of our restaurant choices was Ruta del Veleta 2 minutes from the apartment (it is a restaurant where the (former) King usually is dining and w(h)ining...) During our stay Jim contacted us several times to make sure that we are happy. We certainly were and we would like to recommend Jim as a 'blue chip' when you should consider visiting the Alhambra and enjoy grilled octopus. Harald, Justyna and Borys”

Where is it?
For general information on Granada try www.turgranada.es.Cenes is a small town about 5kms east of Granada city (15 minutes to the Alhambra/City Centre in car or bus)It is close (30 minutes) to the Sierra Nevada ski resort and about 1 hour to the coast and beaches (Salobreña)Cenes itself has a very good range of bars and inexpensive restaurants as well as an excellent Aquaola water park with slides etc. in summer. It offers the convenience of being near to Granada, with the mountains and sierra on your doorstep.N:B:GRANADA AIRPORT 30 MINUTES.MALAGA AIRPORT 90 MINUTES.A car is recommended if you want to see not just Granada city but the surrounding area as well, but if all you want to see is the city itself, you could manage quite well without a car, there is a good, inexpensive, regular bus service between Cenes and Granada.
