About our home

Open the door, walk 5 steps through the porche, down 4 stairs...and that's it, you're at the beach and sea is 10 meters far from you. My house is one of the most special sea-front houses you can find in Costa Blanca, Alicante.

It is a 6 bedroom house and it part of "El Pinet", 120 sea-front houses self-built in 1950s by people who used to spend the summer there in temporary cottages. Due to its proximity to the sea they have been just renovated to make them comfortable enough to host big families during summer.
At "El Pinet" (this is the name of these 'neighborhood') the average occupation in summer has been always really high -Mediterranean style I guess- and the houses are not luxurious, but its views, environment, peace and quietness are just amazing. You will hear the light noise of the sea while sleeping and will be able to read or work in the porche with the most absolut calm.

Out of the summer most of the houses are empty but there are three restaurants open until the end of the year -they open again in March. El Pinet is 2km away from La Marina, a 1.000 inhabitants town surrounded by many vacation houses owned mainly by British and Dutch people. At La Marina you will find everything you need: groceries, supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, etc., besides some Spanish, Dutch or British-owned bars.

in case you are interested in swapping something close to the sea, "but not that close" I also own an apartment there in La Marina. It is a single bedroom apartment with 3 beds and a balcony with awesome views. You can find more information and pictures here:

I am interested in a house in Amsterdam for the month of November but I would be also open to swappin in December and January if you are interested in three-months swap.

Other information:
- Airport of Alicante: 15 kms
- Alicante: 20 kms
- Torrevieja: 12 kms
- Santa Pola: 8 kms
- Elche: 14 kms
