About our home

Built about 15 years ago our house is situated in a typical Andalucian village where the locals are extremely friendly and with many other nationalities especially Brits. We have all modern amenities, all reliable: the house is very airy, light and comfortable. There is a large patio at the back with gardens and a roof terrace to take in the wonderful mountain views.

More about us

  1. We are husband and wife (Ralph and Helen) and we share our property with my wife's sister, Nancy and her husband George. We are all British and now retired. We share an interest in travelling especially since our children are spread out around the world. We have house-swapped before and would be totally reliable and trustworthy knowing that we are putting our trust in someone else. Our other interests include walking, cycling, swimming, reading, quizzes and gardening.

Where is it?

We are situated between Seville to the West, Granada to the East, Malaga to the South and Cordoba to the North - all wonderful hitoric cities to visit. For the coast you can go 50 miles south to the Costa del Sol and the Mediterranean or 70 miles west to the Costa de la Luz and the Atlantic. Communications are especially good as the motorway runs just outside the village and there is a mainline railway station only 8km away. Airports are in Malaga, Jerez, Sevilla, Granada and Cordoba with Jerez being the furthest and still only 80 miles away.
