“We had the most wonderful exchange with Pilar, Tato and Diana in Godella Valencia. A Very friendly family and a pleasure to deal with. Everything was perfect actually and Pilar was most helpful about everything. The house was very spacious, superbly equipped, comfortable and just a joy. The swimming pool was ideal for the children to pass time during the day and cool down when we returned from the city. The location of Godella was very convenient for exploring the old city and visiting the city beaches within minutes. Pilar recommended many different places for us to visit both inside Valencia and in the surrounding area. We travelled in the lovely family people carrier to beaches like Les Rotes south of Valencia and enjoyed the local Paella and Wine. The metro from Godella was very useful for reaching Punta Fusta and the Turia park through Valencia which we particularly loved. The price of food and drinks in Valencia was very reasonable compared to Ireland. Thanks to Pilar, Tato, and Diana and Thanks Valencia!”

Where is it?
Godella is a typical village next to Valencia, which is a beautiful old city, with a lot of sightseeing to do, historical and modern arquitecture. There are so many places to go with children: old town, Albufera (lake), beaches, aquarium "oceanographic" (biggest in Europe), bioparc (newest zoo in Europe), Terra mitica (thematic park, great fun), science museum (interactive), Gulliver's park, port area...
The village of Godella is one of the nicest in the area. You have sport facilities (with an indoors pool) and a children park with a nice bar to eat or drink something two blocks away, and a lot of restaurants of every kind (very fine ones, family ones too). There are tube and tram station. Tube is going downtown every 20 minutes and takes 15 minutes to arrive to Valencia or the beaches .A lot of restaurants for every taste.
Sandy long beaches are all along the coast, you can choose the one you prefer. There are too a lot of places out of the city to see, for a day trip, like Peñíscola, la Albufera, Canet, Guadalest, Sagunt,...we will leave you some touristic information. There are also wineries to visit, and flamenco to see, if you wish. In Easter you can see the "Semana Santa marinera", on july there is "feria" in the city, and in august are the "fiestas" in the village and the surrounding ones, with parades (don't miss the "moros y cristianos" one), music, etc...you can see the fireworks from the verandah by night. Weather is sunny and warm, people is nice, and food is terrific, you have to taste the "paella" and the "orxata". Very good for relaxing...
