About our home

We are offering a house to swap for a school year from August 2014 to July 2015.

We are looking for a family home (3 bedrooms) in the Stockbridge or in the Grange area in Edinburgh.

We are a French-British family with two well behaved 9 years boys, who love History, and music. We´ve been living in Andalusia for almost 16 years and we would like to spend a year in Edinburgh with our children.

We would be happy to help you to register your children in our local school, to introduce you to other families and to make sure you all get the best possible life time experience.

The property consists of a traditional white house in the oldest neighborhood of Granada (the Albayzin). On three floors, covering about 200 m2, it is very comfortable (central heating, dishwasher, tumble driver, internet, etc...) as well as charming with its fire place, baby grand piano and a large outside terrace (with long table and chairs) giving onto a private garden with mature tropical trees and lawn (bit dry at the moment :)

The house is located off the Mirador de San Nicolas, the nicest and most famous view point of Granada (with breathtaking views onto the Alhambra, the snow capped mountains and the city) .

It is a very lively area with many bustling restaurants, art galleries and cafes ... How ever as soon as you close the main door, you only hear the birds in the garden on the other side !

The Albayzin is an Unesco listed site, the old Moorish quarter. It has retained an irresistible charm and attracts visitors from all around the world.

From here it's possible to walk anywhere in the city.
