“We just spent a lovely week in the Barbero family's apartment in Granada. We were very comfortable and felt very welcome. The location was nice, just a few minutes walk from the heart of the city and with a beautiful park, some nice restaurants and a good food store just next to it. We also enjoyed Granada, with a couple of days at the beach (45-50 mins) and a day exploring the magnificent Sierra Nevada (1 hr). Thank you for this swap!! :-)”
Ignacio's reviewsAs a host (4)
“We thoroughly enjoyed our four-night exchange in beautiful Granada. Ignacio is an outstanding host. His apartment is very well located and comfortable. It is also a great base to explore Granada and surrounds. Ignacio was always available with suggestions to make the most of our stay and we really appreciated the tapas tour he took us on. A highly recommended exchange!”
“We made an exchange in July 2012 and had a great stay in Spain. The flat was very clean and we had everything we needed for a nice stay. Grenada s a great town and the weather lovely. The family were nice and helpful.”
“We had a fabulous stay in Granada. Right from the beginning Ignacio was easy to communicate with. The apartment was well located in Granada, not in the core of the city, but easy to get there. We walked everywhere in the city. We also had a rental car and Ignacio graciously helped us get a parking pass at the garage down the street. The apartment was near the highway and was easy to get out on the road. The house had air conditioning in the family room and it was needed as it was hot! I would recommend Ignacio’s home to anyone.”
Where is it?
The house is situated very close to Einstain Square, pedro antonio, camino de ronda.. where you can find plenty of bars and restaurants and in which you can enjoy our famous tapas. There is a supermarket just downstairs, not even a minute away. There is a big mall just 5m walk from the flat.
For children, the biggest science park in Europe 10' away by bus/ tram, a library 5' away and there is a park very close which is a lot of fun and where local families usually go in the afternoons/evenings.
You can get to the city center and the old town in 15' walking or you can drive by bus. Taxis are easy and cheap also. It is very easy to get to all the shops in the city center as well as the old town.
The beach and mountain are both close enough for a day trip by car. There are also plenty of buses departuring from the bus station everyday.
