This is our large very comfortable holiday home in la Cala de Mijas twenty minutes from Malaga or the other direction Marbella. We have all modern facilities and love to take pride of our holiday home. We have tv with basic channels, and it is very well equipped with every thing from wine glasses to BBQ. The bedrooms are large, comfortable and cool being downstairs. Its modern in design and has three large terraces with dining, sun lounging bathing facilities. The view on each is looking down into the sea. The community has a large supervised pool with a qualified lifeguard each day and is open from may to September. There is also a large paddle court for tennis, the community has a security guard and enclosed gate complex to give privacy. This is a very quiet neighbourhood and ideal for families.

“We had the pleasure off making a swap in late Oct. 2015. The apartment is very big and bright and have big terraces overlooking the city and the sea. It's clean and spacious and very easy to live in. It's possible to walk to the beach in 10 min. The beach is clean and the water is clear so if you are looking for a swap close to the sea and with a beautiful view... don't hesitate to make a swap with Catherena and her family.”
We are a family from ireland whom are very fortunate to have a beautiful holiday home in southern spain.We have three teenage boys and a younger daughter. We have spent the last few years adding and decorating our holiday home and can say I am proud of its comfort and location. The children have many lifelong friends made here and there is a fab kids park at the end of the hill. We wish to swap with like minded people who would appreciate our home we would yours. We would like to visit other countries also.

La Cala de Mijas is a small fishing village 20 mins from Malaga airport. There are no tour operators here so it remains a Spanish style village with locals and home owners. There is a market twice a week here and there is some fab restaurants for a dress up evening or local beach cafes chiringuitos. It is also 25 mins to Marbella and 35 to Porto Banus. There is a beautiful small sandy beach in the village with lovely swings and slides and exercise equipment for the adults. Nearby is the pretty port of Cabapino with lovely yachts moored there and small restaurants huddled around the port. Looking beyond that a pretty beach very safe for children and a brilliant cheringuito serving excellent paella and live music nightly. The mountain villages of Rhonda or Mijas are a short drive away as is Benhavis a pretty village near San Pedro. Gibralter is about 1.5 hrs by car and Africa can be spotted on a clear day from these areas.A short boattrip will bring you across to Africa .La Cala is situated in the middle of these places so is an ideal location if you feel the need to travel. For the beach lovers La Cala is perfectly situated on the edge of the Mediterranean.You can enjoy Caberet Evening here with dinner /dance in beautiful laces or informal meals on the beach or in the village .I am at hand to help you plan if you need to based on my local knowledge of the area ,my pleasure .
