About our home

Urban house on the fouth floor of a six-storey bulding located in the Salamanca neighbourhood. It is a very commercial area of Madrid with a lot of stores, shops and supermarkets. The house is very close to the popular "El Corte Inglés" department store. In spite of being placed in a very busy and crowded area, the house is very calm and quiet because is situated in a small block with little traffic. It takes eight minutes walking to get the beautiful Retiro Park, ideal place for the practice of jogging, cycling or just for a stroll along its paths.

Neighbourhood

Salamanca neighbourhood is a very commercial area of Madrid with plenty of high-level fashion shops. There are a lot of stores, boutiques and supermarkets. The house is very close to the popular "El Corte Inglés" department store. It is a very busy and crowded area,

Buzzy restaurants
At least a restaurant in every block of the neighbourhood
Cool bars
I suggest a complex sited in Goya Street near Colon Square in an ancient movie theater composed of several bars and restaurants called Platea. On fashion.
Cozy cafés
Just opposite the gate there is a cozy and very quiet cafetería runned by a friendly couple
Retail therapy
Any kind of store can be found in the neighbourhood.
Bit of culture
Lázaro Galdeano Museum in Serrano Street.
Walks in the park
Retiro Park is a must
Spot of exercise
There is a gym in front of the house but I would recomend a running in the Retiro Park.
Day tripping
Apart from the popular Toledo or El Escorial, I suggest a trip to Segovia-La Granja
