About our home

Suitable for two people or a couple, it's a two bedroom apartment with a view out over Málaga bay. At only 50 square meters it's 'bijou' and cosy. The living room is a comfortable living space to eat and relax and opens onto a large terrace with stunning views which is perfect for outdoor living. The small but perfectly appointed and modern kitchen is separated from the living room by a breakfast bar. Also adjoining the living room is the master bedroom with king-size bed, a smaller store/study room with a double loft bed, and the bathroom with bath and shower.
The apartment has everything anyone could want including a wall-mounted widescreen TV with British and Spanish TV channels, fast broadband wifi and air-conditioning for summer and winter temperatures.
Located in a quiet residential area with nearby golf course and marina, the apartment is a short 10 minute walk to the nearest beach, and half an hour from the centre of Malaga using the frequent local bus service, or 20 minutes driving. There is a lovely walk or cycle ride along the 'paseo maritimo' in both directions past a variety of restaurants, (fish is a speciality), cafes and bars. There are two supermarkets very close by, and all services and amenities in the local commercial district of El Palo.
The apartment is situated on a small hill, a short 5 minute walk to the beaches and bus stop. However, the walk back is 15 minutes uphill, so unless you like exercise, a car would be useful! (For those with a European or International driving license, one of our two cars could be made available).
One deal breaker or maker is that we have a cat, Sooty, very well behaved and low maintenance, who we would like looked after while we are away. He would require regular feeding, and is allowed inside the house, (which he owns!). He is very affectionate and loves cuddles but is also quite independent. We don't think this would be a suitable swap for anyone who does not like cats.
