About our home

Although this is a town house style home, it is situated in a traditional Spanish village. There is air-con in the lounge and a wood-burner for the winter. (There are actually 5 bedrooms, but two I will lock up with the accumulated stuff we don't need in the UK.) The bedrooms are two double and one with two single beds. There is a decent sized lounge with internet TV and wi-fi. Landline and TV are on wi-fi. The dining kitchen is large and modern.
There is a small low maintenance walled garden with patio and a large roof terrace, ( not balcony as such) both with garden furniture. The village is lively, and the natives won't bother you but are friendly and always ready to help. The village boasts many cafe bars, selling tapas and local food, beer and wines, several small supermarkets, a weekly market with gorgeous fresh vegetables and fruit (and cheap clothes etc), two (Catholic) churches, two Aladdin's cave old shops, pharmacy, two banks, post office and if help is needed, there are a few native English speakers resident here.

Transport is needed but the beautiful cities of Malaga, Granada, Seville, Cordoba, Cadiz, Jerez are all within 1-2 hours easy driving. Portugal is only a 4 hour drive. Round about are many pretty small towns and villages. Transport is excellent and cheap throughout Spain and bus to Madrid is 5 hours and 18 euros away. High speed train (AVE) is 5 hours to Barcelona.
Always there are festivals in every village where everyone is welcome. Here there are two beautiful pools open in the summer months, but an all year one is available in Ejica (20 minutes away).

We are looking for a long term exchange, 6 months (or longer) and are happy to live in a flat or house.
