A beautiful 5 bedroom, 4 Bathroom villa located on the bay of Santandria, in-between the beaches of Sa Caleta and Santandria on the island of Menorca in the Balearic Islands.
The villa is located in a quiet area, and just a short walk from everything you can need : Less than 5 minute walk to the Beaches, Pharmacy, little commercial centre, Gym, Pilates, CrossFit, SCUBA diving, paddle tennis courts, beach bars (seasonal), Forest walks, BBQ areas in "Es Pinaret" etc.. There is a hypermarket 1.5km from the villa.
There are also a couple of Kayaks available for your use, which you can put into the water right in front of the house and enjoy exploring the bay from one beach to the other. There are also a few caves that can be explored by Kayak very near the house....which can keep anyone entertained for hours.
There are two beautiful white sandy beaches just a few of minutes walk either side of the villa.
(One of my favourite things to do, is to boil a kettle to make a cup of tea and buy some croissants & ensaimadas (a typical Menorcan pastry), and go down to the beach and have a picnic breakfast down there, before anyone arrives and you have the whole place to yourself. Same things with some evening snacks and a bottle of wine as the sun is going down - Idyllic)
We can leave you some comfortable bikes for you to use to explore the area or go into town. There are special bike tracks all the way into town, that lead all the way round the coast to the different resorts.
If you enjoy fishing, we can leave some rods as you have plenty of places in front of the house and along the coast, to catch something for the BBQ.
There is free WIFI around the whole house , Satellite TV and Nintendo Wii and if you let us know the ages of the children, we can leave some age appropriate games and toys to keep them entertained.
The beautiful old Cathedral City of Ciutadella is less than half hour walk away, or just a few minutes by car. There you will find the beautiful narrow cobbled streets of the old capital of the island. Lovely plazas to sit and have coffee, enjoy some tapas, little markets and the port of Ciutadella with plenty of restaurants and nightlife.
If you are interested in sailing or scuba diving, let me know and I'm sure I can get some good deals for you. There are some lovely areas for horse riding, in the forests and along the coast for both experienced riders and for first timers.
Perhaps you can do a swap here and then catch the ferry over to Mallorca and do a swap there too? Or just pop over for a night, the ferry port is just a 15 minute walk from the house!
*We are unable to swap during June, July, August, and September as the villa is rented out over the summer months.
