About our home

Our holiday home is clean, spacious and new. It has a small pretty garden with south facing patio and roof terrace. It has everything you need for a self-catering holiday any time of the
year. The property is managed by a English couple who live nearby and who would meet you on
arrival and be happy to help with anything you need, including an airport pick-up and/or car
hire arrangements. See the homepage for further details.

More about us

  1. We are a couple with no children, who work as a software engineer and legal executive. We live
in an ironstone village, just outside Banbury, Oxfordshire. When not at work we like to keep
active, playing tennis, cycling and walking. We would also consider swapping our 4-bedroom home
in England with anyone wishing to explore, Oxford, Stratford and the Cotswolds.

Where is it?

Our holiday home is on a small development with a communal pool situated at the entrance to the
beautiful grounds of the Lew Hoad Tennis Club. It lies between the bustling Spanish seaside
resort of Fuengirola with its long sandy beach and the pretty white mountainside village of
Mijas Pueblo with its breathtaking views to the coast. The house provides an ideal base for
either a relaxing break or a more active holiday. It is an ideal base for day trips to Ronda, Marbella, Granda and even Gibralta and Morroco for some tax free shopping. Although it is advisable to have a car, the local bus runs every 30 mins from just outside the development to Mijas and Fuengirola. From Fuengirola there are further bus and train links to enable you
explore the area. It is possible to hire a tennis court or join in mix-ins at several local
tennis clubs, including Lew Hoad. There are also many beautiful golf courses nearby and the
local tourist board organises guided walk twice a week.
