About our home

Please , take note theat we have not renewed our lovehomeswap this year due to a health situation, we are not able to answer tour mails and exchange will not be possible till we can activate it again, thank you for your understanding.

This is our vacation home. It is located in a very quiet and nice rural area (mountains and hills). You may want to combine visits in the the city with nature and sports (walking, hiking...). It is located in a small traditional Spanish mountain Village (Sierra Nevada), 10 km away from beautiful Granada city ant its awesome Alhambra Palace (8km away).

It has a fully equipped Kitchen, one sleeping room with 4 beds (2 in a loft), a sofa bed (sleeps one), and a small patio (for bikes, sports gear, washing machine etc).

This was my grand-aunty house. A part of the space was a chapel. We still share a stone wall with the XVIII adjoining Church and the windows from the parish area. The building was newly restored. We have decorated it with some of my family's Spanish ranch recovered items and traditional ones.

This village is well known for winter (ski slopes are 20km away, Sierra Nevada hills). and summer holidays (because of the outdoor activities and cooler weather). It is plenty of restaurants with outdoor terraces. This is a great spot if you want to have a rural retreat where you can experience the Spanish way of life, do some sport (hiking, trekking, mountain Biking, running), nature and culture, sightseeing, flamenco...... Alhambra Palace and Granada are the second most visited Sighseeing in Spain, after Prado Museum in Madrid.

You will find all shops you need in the village (small supermarket, grocery shop, drugstore,..... The village is well connected by bus with downtown Granada (It takes 30 minutes) so you can leave your car in front of the house (The village Church's Square) and avoid the heavy traffic and expensive parking lots of the city.

The person in charge of our stay is a neighbour who charges 50 Eur per cleaning and laundry. You should give this fee to her by arrival, so you will find everything ready for your stay (we do the same when we arrive to Monachil).

This is a vacation rental I manage together with some other properties in Granada. We live in Barcelona Province (near to France, Pyrenees and Costa Brava). A swap with our home near Barcelona is also possible (only swap)
