Charming home in the countryside, Navarra

“This were our best holidays ever. The house is perfect, the owners are very friendly. The left us lots of information and even took us for a visit to Pamplona. The neighbours were incredible. We very much enjoyed the evenings on the bench near the townhall. Talking to the neighbours, drinking Pacharran. Our children could play in the streets with the other children of Murieta untill midnight. There is no traffic in Murieta.The Sierra de Loquiz and the Seirra de Urbassa are splendid. The bardenas reales and the city of Tudela and Olite are worth the visit. We fell in love with Navarra. If you are looking for an exceptional home exchange, this is the one.”

“Nous avons passé un très agréable sejour chez Eva et Miguel. Avis aux amateurs de randonnées, il y a des sommets surprenants, des aigles, des vautours... on s’est régalé ! La maison est confortable dans un environnement très calme. Des velos sur place pour faire la belle voie verte. Vacances sportives et culturelles ( eglises, monastères...). Merci à nos hôtes !! “Que de choses vues: ballades en montagne, pédalos et bains sur petit lac, fêtes de Vittoria, visites de Bilbao et de Pampelune. Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine de vacances avec nos petits fils. L'environnement de la maison d'Eva est calme, des voisins sympathiques et nous mangions le soir dans le jardin. Contacts faciles avec Eva aucun problème pour leur venue chez nous. Michel et Marie Paule”

“Ok, maybe my heading is slightly over the top, however Baskenland has a lot to offer. Actually an exchange with this family in Murieta has a lot to offer. The house is convenient located, in an small town (not much to do, or lot of shops), with nice and help full neighbours and a veranda where you can sit and just let the day go by...but we did not. There is so much to see and enjoy. Pamplona, Victoria Gasteiz, parc Barbenas Real, Parc urbasa with its waterfall, beautiful walks and trails, Olite San Sebastian and many more high lights. We traveled with young kids and they loved it so I imagine that Baskenland is suitable to all ages. Eva and Miguel are nice hosts, that will do everything to make you feel home. They provide you with all information and know a lot about the surrounding. Besides that they are warm, welcoming people. In short: do not hesitate and grap your chance while you are at it. Enjoy mature culture, the good Spanish cuisine and wine.”
