About our home

Our home is ideally located in a quiet suburb of Palma, a family friendly property with huge communal pool, lift, parking and garden. Good transport and easy access to the centre of Palma, seafront, shopping centres, beaches etc. A large (145m2) flat with 3 bedrooms: Double master bedroom with California King size bed and en suite bathroom, second room with a double bed, third bedroom with a child's bed, and an office room with a pull out single bed. The most unique feature of the apartment is its 140m2 roof terrace with a small private pool, outdoor kitchen, sea and cathedral views. It is a comfortable, family friendly base for exploring the island.

We also have a BMW convertible which is optional for a car swap.

A baby pushchair and car chair etc. are also available for families. We have a 4 year old boy so the property is well equipped for families!

“Nous avons passé de superbes vacances dans l'appartement de Keren! Nous étions principalement dehors à visiter toute l'île. Et il y a énormément de choses à faire. L'appartement est idéalement situé. Il y a tout le nécessaire pour y séjourner tranquillement. C'est également adapté aux enfants, ce dont nous avions besoin pour des vacances en famille! Nous aurions simplement aimé échanger d'avantage avec Keren durant notre séjour sur comment se passaent leur vacance chez nous mais elle s'est montrée toujours disponible quand nous en avions besoin. “After a long period of adjustments due to the limitations of COVID19, we were finally able to make the swap that we wanted so much. Keren was an excellent promoter of Majorca through her Welcome Book ;-). The car sawp also contributed to this experience being fantastic. Keren's house is well situated with excellent conditions to enjoy good outdoor moments with the common garden and pool space and its exclusive roof-top! It was a perfect experience and I'm glad we didn't give up despite some odds... Thank you Keren and I wish all the best for your wonderful family!”

More about us

We are a couple with a 4 year old son. I am originally from Israel and my husband is Dutch. We live on the beautiful island of Mallorca but we love to travel, and to visit our home countries to see family regularly. We are new to home swapping and very excited about it taking us to places we hadn't planned on visiting. We are extremely careful and tidy (even our 4 year old is neat to a fault!) We will treat your home like our own and do everything we can to make you comfortable in ours.
Keren is a private chef so we like our food, and can recommend the best eateries!
We love food, wine, nature, adventure and experiencing new cultures.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

La Bonanova is a quiet suburb of Palma de Mallorca, popular with families and home to several luxury hotels. Just a few minutes from the centre of Palma, it is well connected with regular bus services. It is also close to the only beach in Palma, Cala Major. There are some natural caves in the nearby Genova, the tourist bus passes outside the building, and the natural forests and Bellver castle surround the neighbourhood. it is the perfect setting between nature and the capital city with its restaurants, architecture and shopping. And stunning views!

Buzzy restaurants

Genova which is a small village just up the road has some very famous, established restaurants serving local food in historic settings.

Cool bars

Santa Catalina is just a few stops away by bus, or a short drive. It's the main bar area in Palma.

Cozy cafés

The old town is just a few minutes away from our neighbourhood, where you can find authentic bas, cafes and restaurants as well as newer trendy places.

Retail therapy

Porto Pi shopping centre is just a few minutes from the property. It can be reached on foot if you're relatively fit. Otherwise it is a 2 minute drive.

Bit of culture

Bellver castle, Palma Cathedral, Cuevas de Genova as well as the traditional Palma must sees such as the cathedral are all within a short drive (or a long walk)

Walks in the park

The neighbourhood is surrounded by natural pine forests, perfect for strolls. Walk all the way to Bellever castle for a lovely day out.

Spot of exercise

In the Porto Pi centre there is a fully equipped gym. Just up the road (10 mins by foot) is a brand new luxury sports centre with a gym and swimming pool

Day tripping

The open top bus passes outside the building, and there are countless trips to be made from Palma to the rest of the island.
