“We loved our stay in Concha's and Juan Manuel' s second home in Peniscola. Everything is so clean and well organised and the kitchen is very well equipped. The view from the three terraces is marvelous and stunning. We also liked the big and clean swimming pool. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Thank you Concha and Juan Manuel for a wonderful holiday. Helene and Helmut”
Juan Manuel's reviewsAs a host (4)
“We spent 10 very relaxing days in this lovely, clean, spacious, two-level apartment in May-June 2015. The hilltop location offered fabulous views of the old town, the walled castle, the sea and the 7 km sandy beach. It was hard to decide which of the many lovely decks to sit and soak in the sunshine and views. After walking some of the Camino, we were ready to relax, cook some of our own meals in the well equipped kitchen, and listen to their lovely collection of music CDs. The complex was quiet and beautifully landscaped with a large swimming pool with view to the Med. Concha and Juan Manuel offered helpful advice on travel arrangements and sights to see and made our holiday very special, checking up with emails periodically. They were also good visitors when they came to our home In British Columbia and even volunteered to accompany me to my Spanish class to give a lesson on Spain's geography, politics and people. It was a pleasant 20 minute walk downhill from the house to the town of Peñíscola. We checked out many of the restaurants, walked the beaches, and rented bicycles for two days to ride along the separated pathway along the beach to Benicarló. We drove through the nearby park and visited some of the interpretive areas. Thank you Concha and Juan Manuel for a wonderful vacation.”
“We were happy upon arrival that the villa was exactly as pictured. Beautiful marble floors throughout, lots of windows looking out on the Mediterranean, and a private setting. The beds were comfortable and the house layout well planned. We went at the end of March which I would not advise as the town is closed up for the season and there isn't anything much to do or restaurants that are open. I think it would be great fun during the beach/summer season.”
