About our home

We have five bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, over 2 levels. Each with it's own separate entrance. Our children are 4 and 6 so we are very child friendly and have a travel cot, toddler bed and attachable high chair booster seat for anyone travelling with very small children. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is air conditioning or ceiling fans in every room. On the roof we have sun room and large roof terrace which is kitted out with a trampoline, BBQ, Tables and Chairs for 8 people - perfect for star gazing on a summer night. On the ground floor we have a smaller sun terrace, small rock garden and off road parking. The house has a large TV (UK & Spanish Channels) and Wifi Internet Access. We belong to a small private community which has access to two gated swimming pools, both of which have a main pool, toddler pool and toilet facilities. The nearer of the two pools in just 2 mins walk from the house and provides sun umbrellas and sun loungers. It's may also be possible to arrange a car swap.

We live in a quiet urbanisation less than a 10 min drive from one of the prettiest beaches on the Costa Blanca as it is popular yet unspoiled by mass infrastructure. There is a great local restaurant there which serves a fabulous paella and a cocktail bar for sunset pina colada. The beach is several miles of long golden sand with the mountains as a backdrop. Here the Mediterranean Sea is warm and perfectly shallow for the little ones to play due to a natural sand bar and lifeguards patrol the beach.

The house is situated at the edge of the La Marina Urbanisation, which means plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance (10 mins). Further afield are the typically Spanish towns of Santa Pola with the stunning salt lakes home to flocks of flamingos and Guardamar. Just 30 mins away in the regional centre of Alicante, which is also our local airport (25 mins).
