About our home
A modern terraced house, a short drive away from the beach (10 mins). Our home has three bedrooms (a double bedroom and two single bedrooms), two complete bathrooms and a WC downstairs. Pretty communal gardens with a swimming pool for adults and children and a small pool for toddlers. Our complex is small, with just 12 other families living here.

“We had a fantastic holiday and the house was more than we could have hoped for. It provided a quiet retreat from our days out to the beaches and surrounding area. The pool and whole area around the house was impeccably kept. Great communication and friendly exchangers.”
“We had a wonderful stay at Joanna's beautiful home in Alicante. It was perfectly set up for our family and when we arrived we felt immediately at home. The house is large and stylishly decorated with a fantastic new kitchen which we made full use of. The shared pool was large, quiet and situated just at the bottom of the garden. We found a fantastic local restaurant just 5 minutes walk from the house and there were two great small supermarkets on the doorstep. The nearest beach was 5 minutes in the car and never got crowded. With both bus and tram nearby it made traveling in to Alicante easy. Joanne is a great communicator, friendly and warm and helped to make our stay go well. We could not recommend this home more highly. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.”

Our family is made up of Manuel, Joanna, Chloé (18) and Matthew (14). Our daughter may not travel with us.

Manuel is from Madrid and works in IT. Joanna is from London and works as a primary school teacher and teacher trainer. The children go to the French Lycée in Alicante.

We are very experienced home exchangers, having done three exchanges with LHS, but about 20 home swaps with another well-known exchange website. We cannot imagine any other type of holiday now!

Where is it?
Neighbourhood
Residential area but shops, restaurants, cafés are just a couple of minutes walk away. Alicante Golf course and tennis school nearby. Alicante city centre can be reached by car (10 minutes) or bus (30 minutes) . Brilliant shopping in Alicante. Alicante is a very pretty city with palm tree-lined boulevards, a pleasant maritime promenade and an elegant harbour. Nearby beaches are in San Juan and Alicante. Many pretty towns (Altea, Denia, Moraira) and cities (Valencia, Benidorm, Murcia) are within easy reach and can be visited for the day.
