Our apartment was built in 2001. There are 7 apartments in the building, all families with children and retired couples so it is family-friendly and apart from the children in the building it is relatively quiet. Our apartment is on the 2nd floor of the building with lift.
It’s a 3 bedroom apartment but one room is used as a home office so there are 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed and our son’s room has two individual beds. So it sleeps 4 comfortable in bedrooms but there is also a sofa-bed in the living room which would could be used for an additional child.
There is one bathroom with bath and toilet and another smaller bathroom with shower and toilet.
The apartment has central air conditioning and heat, washer, dishwasher and fully equipped kitchen. High-speed Internet and 32" flat-screen TV with a few international channels.
There is a patio at the back of the building with some space for children to play outside.
The apartment building is in a residential neighborhood about 20-25 minutes walk from the tourist center. Very conveniently located to public transportation: buses going to the very center of Seville stop directly in front of the apartment, only a 10 min ride. There is also a newly built network of rental bikes in Seville and there are 2 bike rental stations within 100m of the apartment.
The Seville train station is about 5 min walk from the apartment, great for taking day trips. The neighborhood has several large supermarkets, as well as small convenience stores, shops, and bakeries. Tapas bars and restaurants within walking distance, as well as a park with playground for children.
We are a couple with a 12 year old son. My wife is a language teacher and I work from home for a software company. I was born and raised in the US, my wife is from Seville so we speak English and Spanish at home. Prior to moving back to settle in Sevilla we lived in the Canary Islands and in the US. My wife also lived in France for a few years and speaks French.
