About our home

Our light-filled apartment is one of only two in a townhouse, located just a minute's walk from the Museum of Fine Arts. The Museum neighborhood is one of the most centrally located barrios in Seville and is an easy walk to any of the historic sites the city offers. While in the centre of the city, it is not located in the pedestrian-only part as cars have been banned in much of the city, so it is still accessible by taxi and car for easy arrival and departure.

The apartment boasts a living room with two french windows with small balconies. There is also a modern eat-in kitchen (Poggenpohl) with a Miele dishwasher, Induccion stove and pizza oven and microwave. The apartment has two bedrooms along with one full bathroom with a walk-in shower and one-half bathroom. There are hardwood floors throughout. I designed and made the tables in our living room. We have central heat and AC as well as wifi and cable.

A rooftop terrace offers the opportunity to enjoy the perfect evenings in Southern Spain. As there are only two apartments in the townhouse, privacy and independence are guaranteed.

This was our family home that we mainly rent out now during the year. Javier is rated as a Superhost on Air BnB with over 70 reviews. We are new to home-swapping, but have family who had a good experience and so are interested in trying it out.

Where is it?

Our apartment is located in downtown Seville, but is not part of the main tourist area. As such, this is where many locals still live. A walk to the Cathedral , Giralda, & Alcazar is 10 minutes, the Museum of Fine Arts is just around the corner. The beaches of Huelva and the Algarve in Portgual are an easy day-trip just an hour away. Cordoba and Madrid are accessible by high-speed train, Malaga, Gilbraltar and Tarifa are two-hours away and the Alhambra is three hours away. In half a day, you can cross the Straight and be in Morocco. In sum, a perfect spot to experience all of the wonders of Andalusia!
