Where is it?

Buzzy restaurants
La Caleta is located right by Balmins Beach. The area around San Sebastian Beach has several restaurants which serve local dishes as well as Mexican, Argentine and Japanese food. You will also find great seafood restaurants. In Sitges town centre you will also find Indian and Chinese restaurants, gourmet hamburger places (no McDonalds or Burger King), pizza restaurants, hot dog restaurants, as well as sushi bars. And let's not forget about its many ice cream shops.
Cool bars
Sitges has a very busy nightlife which is concentrated mostly in the old town centre. It also has some cool cafés on San Sebastián Beach and along the old town's beaches. One of our favourites is El Vivero, on Paseo Balmins. From here you can enjoy the most wonderful sunsets in a chill out atmosphere.
Cozy cafés
If you like people watching, a good place to go is either Los Vikingos, or Mont Roig. They sit side by side on Carrer Marquès Montroig.
Retail therapy
Sitges has several boutiques and designer shops in the town centre, as well as an interesting second hand/ bric-à-brac market, and an antiques market next door to it.
Bit of culture
Sitges is a town with a very active cultural life year-round. Aside from local celebrations, it also hosts festivals and carnivals. In Autumn you can't miss the Barcelona-Sitges historical & vintage car rally, where you'll see perfect working examples of cars dating back to the early XX century. Sitges is also home to the famous Sitges Film Festival in October. If you are a fan of horror movies, fantasy films or Sci-Fi, this festival was tailor-made for you.
Walks in the park
There are a couple of parks in Sitges, but the really nice walk here is the 2.5 kilometre long 'Passeig Maritim' which has the Mediterranean on one side, and the spectacular old palatial homes and new modern architecture homes on the other.
Spot of exercise
Sitges is located between the Mediterranean sea and the Garraf mountain range. If you like to go on long walks or trekking before hitting the beach, Sitges is a good place to do it. You can also go for a walk on the Serra dels Paranys, just past the golf course.
Day tripping
Barcelona is a 30 minute train ride away. Trains to Barcelona Sants Station from Sitges run every 15 minutes.
