About our home

Casa Gecko is a newly renovated property, decorated tastefully with plenty of privacy and space. There are balconies leading off both bedrooms, a large roof terrace and a spacious front patio with an outside eating area.

This duplex is on 3 levels and boasts a modern kitchen with an open plan feel. The property is well equipped and is ideal for either just adults and/or family getaways.

Casa Gecko is situated 10 mins walk from the beach and is also close to a variety of bars and restaurants. Being in a gated urbanisation, it is very secure and the gardens are beautifully maintained. There are 3 shared pools to choose from.

Everything is in walking or cycling distance. Bicycles can be arranged for hire for a minimal fee. The bus service is also very reliable and takes you into Mojacar, Vera Garrucha etc, for approx. 1€.

There is plenty to see and do locally. Or you can discover what Andalusia has to offer by using the fantastic motorways and see more of inland Spain.

As well as discovering the many local beaches in the area there is also a water park just up the road. Cabo de Gata natural park is not to far where can see the stunning natural beaches and wildlife.

If you fancy the mountains, discover the Alpujarras and go wine tasting. Skiing at the Sierra Nevada mountain range is also possible from December through to February. This is a couple of hours drive.

The closest and most convenient airport is Almeria then Murcia. Alicante is also an option. easyJet, Ryanair and Monarch are just a few of the airlines that fly to this part of Spain.
