“We are just back from our vacations in Viver. We have spent some really good time at Pilar and Jose 's place. First, Jose and Pilar had prepared very well our visit and their advices were precious. We got to see great places that were not in our text guide. We communicated very easily by mail, and she would respond so quickly! Plus, they were very generous toward us, making us test some delicious Spanish food and giving a nice plant to our garden. Then, the house is spacious, well organized and comfortable, so we felt like home. We didn't suffer from the heat, the house remaining cool even when the temperature reached 36 degrees, one day. We enjoyed having diner and breakfast on their lovely terrace. The neighbors have been very kind and helpful also. Plus, we were unexpectedly charmed by Viver: this village is very lively yet peaceful. There are plenty of bars, playgrounds for the kids, enough stores, a swimming pool at five minutes walking away from the house... Also the region is very interesting for tourism: we went to beaches but also Valence, natural parcs, medieval fiesta, museum, castillos, typical historic villages... The landscapes are worthy: for those who paint, take your material. For those who walk or ride, you won't be disappointed. Finally, when we came back, we found our house even cleaner than before. It was a pleasure to exchange our home with Pilar and Jose, and we definitely recommend our experience. Thank you again!”

Pilar's reviews
As a host (4)“After Pilar and José had been to my home last summer I staid at there place in Viver with a friend of mine. The two of us enjoyed their beautiful house, had breakfast at one of their amazing terraces, travelled from Viver to Valencia, Teruel and Sagunto with much ease and grace, had nice walking tours in and around Viver as well as from Viver to two other villages close by. Viver is just such a lovely place to relax and enjoy nature, combined with endless possibilities to discover Spains roman, medieval and more recent history. We were amazed by the purity and quantity of the water, the wonderful springs and waterfalls, creeks and rivurets, the irrigation systems and beautiful parks in the middle of the village. All these was topped by the kindness and gentleness of the people who made sure that we didn\'t miss delicious pastry and lots of other good nutritious things the village offers. People just started talking with us, seemingly happy to share their village\'s facilities and to show us around. We very much enjoyed our time at Pilar\'s and José\'s place and very appreciated the excellent and so well organized information offered by them. Altogether an excellent exchange experience. Thank you.”
“We have just returned from our fantastic holiday in Viver. Pilar's family took excellent care of our home, all things were clean and in perfect order when we came back. Pilar's house is spacious, comfortable and practical. We enjoyed our breakfast out in the beautiful patio. The house is situated a 5 minute walk from the center of Viver. We recommend you take a walk to the center of town in the evening. Everything seems to come to life with people enjoying refreshments in the bars and cafeterias. Viver is a great destination if you are travelling with children. There are nice playgrounds with cafeterias where the adults can relax. We also enjoyed the beach very much. Our favourite was Sagunto, which was about a 30 minute drive from Viver. Valencia is also recommended as a destination that is only about 45 minute away in car, The kids loved the Oceanografic as well. We would definitely recommend this family for anyone wanting to enjoy the Spanish countryside.”
“We had a very nice trip to the small town of Viver in September. The appartment was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. Pilar and Jose were the perfect hosts. The town was small and cosy, with a supermarket and a few bars and restaurants, and close to Valencia and other towns. We went to Segorbe a couple of times, to the beach in Port de Sagunt, to shop and explore in Valencia and to see the hot spring in Montanejos. We also just really enjoyed Viver snd it's friendly people. We went on a wine tasting in the cooperativa and got to know what people do in the area which was really interesting. And such good wine and olive oil! Pilar and Jose, thank you for everything! Best, Jónína, Magnús and family”

Neighbourhood
