About our home

Our townhouse is located in the historic Tumba Bruk, a cultural area earlier used by workers printing money and value paper for the Swedish national bank. The area is counted as one of Sweden's national treasures.
Here lives about 60 family's.

Our house has all modern amenities in bright rooms with all the old charm preserved.

Our garden is full of sunny places, fruit trees, a garden plot with herbs and greens, and a lovely barbecue place in the evening sun.
We have a minivan with seating for six passengers, and if you wish, our two cats Jesper and Messi can stay here with you.

On the top floor there are two very large bedrooms, used as three rooms by our children. There you also have a fully equipped bathroom with bathtub, washing machine etc.

A fireplace if the evenings are chilly.

On our ground floor we have our sleeping place, a livingroom with a large sofa, separate dining room a large kitchen and a second bathroom.

Pictures of the area you can see an article in the magasine The Cultural World:

More about us

  1. We who live here are Janne och Janna, our two girls Mischa och Ella (6 and 7years), and our two boys Ante and Måns (11 and 17 years old). They have plenty of toys and tv-games they would be happy to lend you.

We both work in Stockholm (Janne is a social worker and I, Janna, work as a journalist on a Swedish paper. On our freetime we both enjoy garden work, hiking and other outdoor activities. I run a lot in the forest, and here we have several runningtracks just around the corner. When we travel we prefer to get to know the area we visit.

This is our first holiday home swop. A close friend recommended this page as a good, serious page after several successful home swaps.
