About our home

Our house was built in the 1950s, in typical swedish style, and is one of the nicest in the area.
The villa is spacious and holds 7 rooms (4 bedrooms) + 3 bathrooms; around 220 m2. It is a well renovated house.

Lovely enclosed garden, with a pitoresque view of the rooftops of the surrounding villas. Open and covered terraces, outside spa, BBQ, playgrounds and a big trampoline for the kids. There are 3 fireplaces and one sauna, perfect during winter time. .

There are several bicycles available.
Car exchange is possible.

Part of the villa on the ground floor is a separate rent apartment (not included in the listings above) where our nice tenant Kristina lives. Note that this apartment is completely separated from the rest of the villa, with its own entrance and garden at the backyard, so you will be not be disturbed in any way (see the drawings for details).

Where is it?

Sköndal is a very nice area 10 km / 15 minutes drive to Stockholm center by car. It is well served by Stockholm's public transport system, it takes 30 minutes to the centre via bus + metro. The bus station is only a 4 minutes walk from our home.

The area is largely residential, though broken up by nice green spaces, wooded areas, footpaths and cycleways. Close by is the lake Drevviken, with beaches and a walking trail around the edge, and the Flaten conservation area.

Stockholm is one of the nicest cities in Europe to go to during summertime: experience the light nights and enjoy the relaxed summer atmosphere.
The rest of the year there are plenty of interesting museums and excellent restaurants to visit. (See for more info)
