About our home

This lush and cosy area, where our house is placed at the center, was built by the state as part of the Swedish Welfare Concept: The Folk Home in the 1950s. In order to live here, originally you had to have at least two children. Today the area attracts young hipster families, who appreciates the unique architecture of the 1950s and the style of living. The area has been listed by the state as of high cultural value.

The area is very child frindly and mainly car free. It is appr 10 min walk to the metrostation Hökarängen, and with about a 15-20 min biking ride to the city. The house itself is newly and carefully renovated, back to the original style. You have forests and recreational areas nearby, many playgrounds (one with living animals) and nice neighbours!

The house has two floors and a basement with an extra shower, a sauna, a washing machine and a dryer. The basement also contains an extra guest room with a bunk bed and a bed-sofa. The house includes high speed wifi, we have a garden with barbecue facilities.

We have two bikes for adults, and several for smaller kids (including helmets). We have a lot of toys, and board games for cosy evenings by the fire place in the upstair living room.
