About our home

We live in a beautiful apartment from the 1920’s (completely renovated 2015) in a very central location in cool Malmö, Sweden. 104 sqm, wooden floors, high ceilings with stuck, bay window, large balcony, elevator.
Quiet location yet in the midst of everything with shopping, restaurants, nightlife and a beautiful park, all literally steps away.
Train to Copenhagen is a few minutes walk away (it takes 30 minutes to ride to Copenhagen).
All rooms are very large, one bedroom is the master bedroom, the other is our sons room.
Bathroom with bathtub and shower. Fully equipped kitchen. Very fast wifi (250 MB/s).

More about us

  1. We're a Swedish family with a little three year old son. Marko, Anna and little Gustav.
We are especially interested in swapping to Berlin the summer of 2018, but Amsterdam, Budapest, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria are also interesting, as is Monterey and San Francisco.

  2. Both of us are travel guidebook authors, photographers and filmmakers. We travel the world together for our assignments, often staying for longer periods at every place. We have no pets and do not smoke.

  3. Being people of the word and the picture, our home is full of books and photography. Some artifacts from around the world have also found their way home to us.

Where is it?

In the middle of the old city center of Malmö, everything is literally steps away – shops, bars, restaurants and sights. Quaint streets with street houses and roses, the medieval square of Lilla Torg with lots of restaurants, the new cool places in the harbor and Malmö's most beautiful park complete with a garden, garden café, canal and even a medieval castle. It's all within minutes walk.
If you jump on the bike, you reach the sea within ten minutes and less where you have a sandy beach as well as swimming piers, not to mention the wooden bath house on poles in the water.
And lovely Copenhagen is only 30 minutes away with the train over the bridge (walking distance to the train). The medieval university town of Lund is just 10 minutes with train.
