About our home

We offer a charming house with a nice garden close to downtown Gothenburg. We have 4 bedrooms and an upper and a lower livingroom. There are two large balconies; an upper with a view over the city, and a lower deck with stairs leading down to a lush garden.
We have a very friendly cat called Charlie.

Where is it?

With a 15 minute car ride you reach a diverse amount of activities; for example the sea with many nice places to go for a swim, Liseberg which is the largest amusement park in Northern Europe, downtown Gothenburg with great shopping and restaurants and so much more.

Buzzy restaurants
Divan at Wieselgrensplatsen offers delicious Middle East food at modest prices.
Cool bars
We don´t know very much of that any more :) Port Arthur is the oldest pub in Gothenburg and offer a cozy environment and nice quizz nights. It is a strong walk away, or just take a bike or a bus.
Cozy cafés
The American diner at Wieselgrensplatsen is cozy.
Retail therapy
Femman has all stores you can possibly want. We however prefer nicer surroundings around Haga with its many cute shops. If you want to buy brands cheap we recommend Hede fashion outlet in Kungsbacka, a 40 minutes drive from our home.
Bit of culture
Go to Kungälv and visit the 15´th century Castle. Tjolöholms slott is another castle, built in 1898 in Tudor style with beautifully preserved interior and exterior.
Walks in the park
Keillers park is close by and offers the best views of Gothenburg. Is a must see!
Spot of exercise
The best place nearby is Slättadamm with miles of soft running tracks in beautiful forest surroundings. In town you can go jogging in Slottsskogen and pass by elks and seals.
Day tripping
Go to the islands Tjörn and Orust by car (1 hour drive), or more local, go by ferries from Saltholmen in Gothenburg to visit the many islands just outside of the town.
