About our home

First of all, we are experienced home swappers and have exchanged homes in San Diego (US), Gstaad (CH), Paris (FR), Guadeloupe (FR) Marbella (ESP) Mangonui (NZ). We like this way of traveling and are tired of boring hotels and tiny apartments.

This "cosy" home is approximately 200 sqm and is the last house on the street in a park. We have 10 minutes biking to the sea, where you can go by boat to several islands, and 10 minutes by car or bus to the city center of Gothenburg.
 See http://www.goteborg.com/en/archipelago/
It is very calm in the neighborhood and you have 5 minute walk to the food store and buses.
The tennis court is nearby our house and the park has a 1,5 km long run track.
Our car, Honda CRV, is avaliable.
The home is in two floors with 3 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms, one with jacuzzi, walk in closet and 2 living rooms with TV, dvd, HiFi and wireless WiFi. BBQ area and 3 terraces, where you can sleep outside if you wish and a big lawn where the kids can play.
You can also use our weekend cottage in Falkenberg 10 meters from the sandy beach. It is 1 hour drive from Gothenburg.

We also have a winter house in Sälen where we go skiing in the winter time. It is 7 hours drive from Gothenburg

Gothenburg is the second largest city in Sweden and if you want to visit the capitols of Sweden, Norway and Denmark it is only 3 hours by train away. You can easy go to London or Paris with "Low fare flight" over the weekend (2 h) and the airport is only 20 minutes away.

Gothenburg is situated on the west coast and is a friendly city with many things to see.
The port of Gothenburg is the largest port in Scandinavia. Liseberg is a funfair in the city where they have many flowers and lots of scary rollercoasters.

Our nearest neighbour is a very helpful and nice family.

We are a family of 4 with two grown up daughters.
We also have an outdoor cat called Smulan that you will take care of. Therefore we cannot allow your pets unfortunately.
We love to travel and have been in many places round the world. Our interests are mainly skiing, tennis and motorbiking.

Visit Sweden, Gothenburg, in a lovely home only 10 min to sea and forest is just nearby. Take the train to Stockholm, Copenhagen or Oslo just a few hours ahead.
