About our home

Our home is located in a new at Liljeholmskajen, a new popular popular area that has emerged in the last ten years. Proximity to the sea and attracts many parts of Stockholm. From the living room, we have a great view of the water and the south part of Stockholm. From our windows and the balcony, we can see all kind of boats traffic, from canoes, sailing and ships. It’s easy to get here by train, bus, tram, Metro.
Our apartment has a living room with a dining area for six persons and a TV corner. The apartment has 2 bathrooms; the washing machine is situated in the bigger bathroom. There are one master bead room and two guest rooms. One guest room have a single bed and the other have a sofa bed with two beds. The kitchen is fully equipped. We moved in here October 2016 so everything is pretty new and in god shape.

Bit of culture
Stockholm have a lot of museums. My personal favorite museum is The museum for Moderna Art, Skansen (outdor museum), museum of the Wasa ship, and the ABBA-museum (of course). Skansen, Wasa and ABBA. The area where these museum is called Djurgården (= the animals area don't be afraid. The name is historical. Only the king were aloud to hunt there, but that whas several hundred years ago).
Day tripping
Go to the City Hall and take the boat to the Castle of Drottningholm. You can't compare with Versaille, but it is a nice trip. The boat takes 30-40 minutes and you can take the boat back again.
