About our home

This is a unique property. It is a private island that used to be the home of famous nature author/photographer Jan Lindblad who also kept two Indian tigers roaming free here for a year!

The island is 7 hectars (14 acres), there are two houses and one of them can be used for exchanges. This is a converted barn and a full restoration of it is just finished. The main room have huge windows giving it excellent light, five meter high cealing, a big fire place in one end and a well equiped newly built kitchen in the other end. There are two cosy bed rooms with exposed timber walls and a bathroom with a copper tub. Everything is restored in old Swedish style with natural materials.

Next to the big island there is a smaller one with a very romantic log cabin that can be part of the exchange to.
