About our home

This is a unique property. It used to be the writing cabin of famous nature author/photographer Jan Lindblad who also kept two Indian tigers roaming free here for a year!
The island is only 2000 square meters and there is a small log house. It is basic and simple, but everything is chosen with quality in mind. There is no electricity, but still everything You need is there. The main house consists of one room. There is a comfortable double bed. There is a big open fire - made of coral that Lindblad collected during his trips! Beside the fire is a small kitchen with a gas stove and a gas refrigerator.
In the outbuilding there is a small sauna with a big water heater, a simple shower room (where You use a pressurised tank for showers) and a dry toilet.
There is also a bigger island (7 hectars, 14 acres), next to the small one, where there are two houses and at least one of them can be used for exchanges. This is a converted barn and a full conversion/restoration of it is just finished. Very comfy for a family. Check it out on:
