About our home

Set in a large elevated plot, surrounded by nature and with magnificent lake views
Access to the house is by a private driveway with ample parking to the side and rear of the house. Additional parking for a larger vehicle is also available.
The gardens surround the house. To the front is an open sunny south-facing lawned area while to the rear is a large lawned area leading to the forest. A beck between the rear garden and the forest, leads to a picturesque waterfall and natural pond.

The house would suit a family wanting good size accommodation and a large garden yet local access to lakes, beaches, fishing, shopping, nature etc.Lillkågeträsk is a small hamlet bordering a lake between Kåge and Jörn.
A small local shop situated in Storkågeträsk is approximately 10 minutes away by car. The town of Kåge with good shopping facilities is approximately 20 minutes by car.
The city of Skellefteå is approximately 1 hour away by car.
Between Kåge and Skellefteå, along the main E4 are:
•A large out-of-town shopping area with supermarkets, clothes, sports and shoe shops, hardware stores and the State-run liquor store (Systembolaget) (30 mins)
•Boviken harbour with beach access (30 mins)
•Byske harbour with beach and recreation facilities (30 mins)
•Byske river for fishing (30 mins)
From Lillkågeträsk there is direct access to:
•Fällfors for salmon fishing (30 mins)
•Storklinta Ski Resort (1 hour)
•Local lake and forest access
Skellefteå City – the city of Skellefteå has a wide range of facilities for all-year-round activities:
•Shops and restaurants
•Museums, galleries and theatre
•Skellefteå Kraft Arena for Ice Hockey and summer events
•Skellefteå Ski Centre
•The tourist office in Skellefteå has a wide range of publications for local activities, places of interest etc.
Access to other locations:
•The proximity of the main E4 allows convenient access to cities both North (and across to Finland) and South of Skellefteå as far as Stockholm (11 hours approx)
•The route 95 (south of Lillkågeträsk) offers direct access to Boliden, through to Arvisdjaur and on to Norway.
Access from outside Sweden:
•By road from Norway and Finland
•By train (to Jörn) from Stockholm (with connections to Denmark/Germany and the Netherlands)
•By air to Skellefteå direct from the UK (from March 2014 with Ryanair)
•By air to Skellefteå, Luleå and Umeå via Stockholm (SAS, Norwegian)
•By air to Arvidsjaur direct from Germany (all year round)
