About our home

November 27th to December 16th our apartment is available for point swaps.

This 2 bedroom apartment is perfect for a family as we live here with two small kids so you would have access to toys, high chair, crib and play area. But we have also hosted groups with only adults and can arrange the beds to suit that type of group as well.

The area is one of the best in Stockholm. You are 2 minutes from the subway Mariatorget and 2 minutes from several buses (one of the main lines in Stockholm - bus 4), and 5 minutes from the commuter train (Södra station) that will take you straight to Arlanda airport. There are restaurants, bars, shopping, supermarkets and playgrounds in all directions. In 5 minutes you can walk to one of the cities biggest parks – Tantolunden – that also has it's own little swimable beach. One of the best views over Stockholm is only 3 minutes away. You can walk, bike or take public transport to get anywhere within minutes.

Built in 2015, the apartment has a new feel to it. Open layout between kitchen and living room; big windows lets in lots of light; modern bathroom with tub, washer/dryer and towel heater; big balcony with lounge furniture overlooking a small green area and a pedestrian street with no traffic. Super quiet apartment! The kitchen has dishwasher, marble counter tops, induction stove and big fridge and freezer. The bigger bedroom has a California king size bed with memory foam mattress. The other bedroom has a twin bed and a crib but the crib can be exchanged for a comfy twin mattress instead. It is also possible to have one person sleeping on the big couch in the living room (not a sofa bed but long enough to fit even a tall person).

Elevator building with easy access when you come with your suitcases or your kids in a stroller. The complex has a backyard with BBQ and seating, and a small playground that can be used on weekends and evenings (when the preschool is closed).

More about us

  1. We are a couple with two small kids, so most of the time looking for a family friendly place, but we will sometimes travel without the kids too.

  2. Lotta used to be a travel writer but now owns her own e-commerce business and Andrew works in the tech field. We can work from anywhere so will sometimes be able to travel even when we are not on vacation. Good internet is therefor big on our wish-list.

  3. We love lots of different types of travel experiences – big cities, nature, beaches, arts & music, skiing, hiking...
