About our home

Located in the ultra hip Sodermalm district (named the third coolest neighborhood in the world by Vogue Magazine) this converted store was originally built in 1904, then used as an artist studio for decades before finally becoming a home ten years ago.
The big living room sports a 13 foot ceiling, massive store front windows and original hardwood floors. The kitchen is equipped with an induction stove top, a convection oven and dishwasher. There is also a washing machine in the apartment. There main bedrooms contains a queen size bed for adults and a separate room holds a bunk bed for two children. There is also a dedicated playroom for the kids.
The bathroom sports a built-in tub and floor heating. The flat is located a few minutes walk away from bars and restaurants. There is very little disturbance from the close-by nightlife although this is an apartment on street level right in the middle of Stockholm, so you will obviously hear traffic.

This home was featured in Elle Magazine in 2006 (cut and paste to see article, some changes have been made since then):

If you read this brand new Stockholm guide from the Wall Street Journal, our home is one or two minutes walk from Drop Roast Coffee (cut and paste to see article).
