About our home

Available July 25 to August 8, for Points Swap.
Arriving to our home after 2 minutes boat ride you will experience a sanctuary. Walking off your private wharf you first pass our Sauna house where two can sleep and where you can take a sauna anytime. Walking up the stairs to the main house gradually takes you to a stunning view and here you can relax on a number of terraces indoors and outdoors. All of this only 15 minutes from downtown Stockholm.

Note that the house is elevated so you need to walk some stairs to get "home", see picture.

The water is fresh, clean and a short swim makes a great morning exercise. Get back up to the house for a breakfast in the 30 Sqm kitchen (Seats 14) with equally stunning view.

The Island is called Storholmen (Large-islet), and is a no-motor vehicle Island. Why not visit the next door local restaurant where locals and visiting people spend quality time, almost like an extra living room. Or take a short walk to our neighbor where you can buy fresh eggs for your breakfast.

To get to the House is very easy. Simply take the Ferry or ask me to pick you up or arrange pick-up first time. The commute ferry arrives 13 times every day from/to Ropsten where you have access to the Stockholm subway system, this is how most people on the Island commute to work. The Subway tickets are also valid for the Ferry.

An hour ferry-ride takes you to downtown Stockholm the most beautiful city, especially when entering from the sea side.

If you are a good fisherman, you can catch Salmon, Pike-perch, Perch or Pike, even from the Wharf. If you want some exercise you can take the red kayak for a tour around the island, or why not the SUP.

We possibly exchange the house with Car (direct swap)

This is the true way of discovering the Stockholm archipelago, summer lazy days, and the city of Stockholm all in one great package.

Where is it?

You will be staying on the Island of Storholmen (Big-Islet). Here you have about 200 houses with some half of it being populated all year around, and the other half is vacation homes. There is a local restaurant and you can ask us about where to go and buy daily fresh eggs if you like.

The ferry take you there 13 times a day, either 3 minutes from the Car parking lot, or 25 minutes from Ropsten subway station. Last one to leave from Stockholm is 10.40pm

If you feel like exercising, you have Bosön, to where you can take a boat in 4 minutes. Here all Swedish top athletes practice with the best surroundings, and it is open for you too. Do not be surprised to find famous hockey or football players training here.
