About our home

Our home is a comfortably planned apartment in a modern house from 1990, in the middle of Stockholm - the appreciated area of Södermalm. In summertime Stockholm is a wonderful city where you can swim in the lake Mälaren, only 300 meters from our home, and you can reach the Archipelago within an hour by bus or boat. We are happy in our home, and with our urban life, never far from the nature. We have a lovely cat that is not found of travelling but love to cuddle, otherwise there is no work to be done in our home.

Features

More about us

  1. I am a librarian and I like to change views in summer, for easter or go skiing in wintertime. In summertime me and my two sons Aron 11, and David 9, love to go to the countryside, preferably in the south of France in a house with a garden. Sometimes my sister or friend come along. We are tidy and careful about other people's belongings. We have made changes four times before (with France and Croatia in 2009, with France twice in 2015) and all of them have been mutually happy experiences. We have an indoor cat that loves cuddling with the children, but she can be very shy. We love to make a home exchange with a family that have a cat that we can take care of.

Neighbourhood

The fresh water of Mälaren (with a nice beach for swimming in summer, within ten minutes walk from our home) and in the other direction museums and shopping, and a lot of green parks with wonderful playgrounds for children - appreciated both in winter and summer. We have bicycles (one adult and two children's) to lend you.
