About our home

We have a beautiful spacious apartment in a 19th century building (built 1898) in central Stockholm. High ceiling, hardwood floors, two functioning fireplaces (wood is included), two bathroom with showers and one bath, and a garage a few blocks away. The apartment has recently been renovated and modernized, the kitchen and both baths are brand new. Our apartment sleeps six people in three rooms, with a sofa also available for a seventh person. A baby-cot is also available. The master bedroom has a furnished balcony facing the backyard - overlooking the surrounding courtyards. All rooms are quiet as our street has hardly any traffic, although it is a busy neighborhood. The apartment is well equipped with a large flatscreen TV, bluetooth stereo (works with any mobil device) and high-speed wireless internet. The kitchen has new appliances and is well equipped with tools etc. Also included is two bicycles.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our street and the surrounding blocks are of general cultural and historical interest. The street, the backyard and our block is very quiet as there is not much traffic here. One block away is one of the towns most popular and trendy areas with a lot if cozy bakerys and cafés, great reastaurants of all price-levels and fantastic bars. The nearby square Mariatorget is a popular hangout and meeting spot. It is a great area for shopping. There are a lot of designer boutiques, second-hand stores, small gallerias etc. Stockholms large department stores are located downtown, which is a 20-minute walk, and the beautiful Old Town is 5 minutes to walk. Also in the neighbourhood are recreational facilities (gym, indoor swimming pool) playgrounds, parks, easy access to public transportation and great promenade areas. It is very central and close to everything.
