About our home

Our apartment is modern and spacious at the same time with a homely feeling. It has a combined living and dining area (50 sqm) (with a table for 8 people, we love to cook and host our friends. Perfect for social life and relaxing, cooking and watching tv together. We have a dvd with lots of movies. We would like a Playsation but our youngest Albin loves playing so we decided not to buy one. In the master bedroom we have a large double bed and computer area, hi speed internet in the apartment. The childrens bedroom are devided into two sections with room for two people ( suitable for grownup as well, we need to change the pictures it has a bunk bed or two single beds) and a big balcony. We have two balconys, one of thm is called a terrace. The apartment was built in 2010 and we are the only ones that has lived here so far. Our home is beautiful and we love modern danish and Swedish design furniture at the same time we think our home is for living in not a museum, so feel at home!

More about us

  1. We are a young family at least i still want to call myself young! Me, Birgitta I am 37 years old and work as a program manager within IT. My husband Filip is 38 years and work with marketing. We have two children Ingrid 7 years and Albin 5 years. We love to travel and have been all over the world. With Ingrid we spent 3 months in Thailand. Our children are easy going and lovely not always quiet though. We have done home exchange 5 times with families in Spain and Grece. We love the experience. It is so much better than we could ever have imagined. Its a great way to travel and see new places and at the same time have somewhere to relax and feel at home without disturbing anyone. We are looking for an exchange in july 2 weeks would be perfect!

Where is it?

Welcome to Stockholm, one of the worlds most beautiful capitals. Built on 14 islands around one of Europe's largest and best-preserved medieval city centres, the Swedish capital is superbly positioned, with stunning and extremely varied scenery in every direction. Stockholm offers a wealth of museums, theatres, sights, attractions and events.

Hammarby Sjöstad is one of Sweden's biggest urban development projects, intended to link the inner city with the areas around Hammarby lake. It takes about 10 minutes to reach Stockholm inner city by walking. We have bikes to borrow and that is the perfect way to see the hole city that has excellent bike trails. You can swim in the city and all around so its perfect to combine culture with sunbathing and swimming.

Proximity to the water and a strong environmental focus are the projects hallmarks. Hammarby Sjöstad is known worldwide as a successful example of modern, dense urban development combined with high-quality public spaces and ambitious green initiatives. Stockholm is surrounded with water and it is easy to catch a boat and see the archipelagos.
