About our home

I live in a big log-house just outside a small but poopular village, Grebbestad , on the westcoast of Sweden. It is nice and quiet here and you can walk down to the beach in a few minutes. It is only 2 kilometers to the centre of the village, where you can find everything you want like shops, restaurants, bank etc. The house is spacious and has three bedrooms, one master bedroom and two smaller ones with one bed in each. There is a TV and I have a computer with broadband. The kitchen is rather big and you can sit on the terrace outside. The bathroom is also big and I have a washing machine there.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Grebbestad where I live is close to both Norway with the capital Oslo and to the second largest city of Sweden, Gothenburg, with a distance of 130 kilometers from Grebbestad. There is also an airport in Rygge in Norway, only 70 kilometers away. We have a famous world heritage of rockcarving at Vitlycke at Tanum, only 6 kilometers away. We have two golf-coarses and many tennis coarts and you can visit the beautiful archipelago by boat. The Weather Islands has accomodation and a nice restaurant only one hour by boat. You can do seal safaris and fishing and diving. We have a diving -centre just where I live on the beach. You can visit the water national park at the Koster fjord or the beautiful islands that belong to this archipelago north of Grebbestad. There are many small fishing villages along the coast and you can try the oysters and the shrimps.
