About our home

Our lovely townhouse was built in 1999. Only 16 min away from the city center of Stockholm by underground. Our house is light but cozy and perfect for the big family!

We live on three floors where the entrance floor is the hall, kitchen, TV room and dining room as well as a bathroom with shower. From the entrance level there is an exit to our little garden where you can relax under the umbrella or barbecue and enjoy your dinner.

On the second floor, there is three large bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have their own TV and plenty of space for play and space for extra beds. On the second floor there is also a large bathroom with bath tub, washing machine and dryer.

The third floor is a furnished attic which has become our master bedroom with dressing room, and a reading corner.

Private parking space is included.

Neighbourhood

"Hökarängen" our neighbourhood is located 16 min south of the old town of Stockholm, by underground on the green line. Our house is a 10 minute walk from the underground in a very quite area of our beloved suburb.

Our suburb Hökarängen is one of the first modern suburbs built in Stockholm after WW2. Built during 1946–1954, it has a very characteristic architechture of that time. Hökarängen has been pointed to be "especially culturally historically valuable" by the Stockholm city council, in regards to the architechture.

Apart from all the architechture and culture :) It's a very green suburb with recreational areas, parks and a forest right next to our house. We got two local supermarkets with a nice assortment of different styles of food. A super nice bakery serving freshly baked bread, buns, cakes etc every day.

Buzzy restaurants
In the neighborhood you will find a very nice Thai food restaurant and Kebab restaurant. There are also pizza places.
Cool bars
No nightlife. Very calm area in the suburbs. But the nightlife of Stockholm is in only 16 min away with the underground.
