Our summer house is located just 30 km south of Umeå, former European Capital of Culture. The summer house is set 80 meters from the sea, with a nice garden and different sunny/shade locations to move between during the day. The summer house is from the 1960's and is newly renovated.
There are two buildings on the premesis: the main building contains a fully equipped kitchen, living room with fire place, double bedroom and a shower room. In the smaller building you'll find two bedrooms, one sleeps two persons (bunkbed) and the other is a large double with room for 4 persons. In this smaller building the dry toilet is located, a toilet type very common in Scandinavian summer houses. On the premises there is also a wood fire sauna, built in 2016. It comes with an outdoor shower and a lovely view to the sea. In the garden there's a trampoline for the whole familjy to enjoy!
About 20 minutes walk or 10 minutes bike ride away is a lovely sandy beach, but you may also swim from the rocks right by the house.
The summer house is set in Sörmjöle, 30 km south of Umeå, a 20 minutes ride to shops, bars, museums and other activities for your family. Umeå is the largest town in northern Sweden, with a wide variety of things to do, eat and see. We also have our apartment listed here at LHS, an apartment in the center of Umeå.
