About our home

Classic 1944 wooden row house in picturesque archipelago town of Vaxholm, only 30 minutes by car or 40 by direct bus from the city center of Stockholm. Two bedrooms upstairs, one in the basement. Large living room with double door access to 20 sq m terrace with sun all day. Large recreation room in basement, newly renovated bathroom with shower and bathtub, washer and dryer. Standard IKEA kitchen with all appliances. Fully furnished. One designated parking space.
Quiet, picturesque and historic - this neighborhood is a 12 minute walk to the Vaxholm harbour in the town which calls itself the Capital of the Stockholm Archipelago. Commute to Stockholm by boat, bus or car and live the life of leisure with parks, bicycle and running tracks, boating and much more. Vaxholm has its own cinema, art galleries and shopping - not to forget many great restaurants/cafés and the historic Waxholm Hotel with two restaurants. Vaxholm also prides itself on smaller businesses which make micro brewed beer, artisinal cheese, offer canoe rentals and much more. The schools and day care are excellent.
