About our home

Located in the south of Sweden, only 3 hours to Denmark, Gothenburg or Stockholm and lots of activities and places to discover in the local area.

This is a charming newly renovated villa with a lovely garden, situated only 100 metres from the lake where you can go swimming, canoeing, rowing and fishing. There are several museums and tourist attractions in the village and there are many interesting places to visit in the surrounding areas, don't miss the popular Astrid Lindgren World for children!

The villa is suitable for several families or friends travelling together, there is plenty of space here and you can relax in the garden or go down to the lake...

There are 5 bedrooms, 10 beds ( + some extra beds). The garden has a comfortable seating area, BBQ, and a SPA TUB plus a 4 metre trampoline for the children. There are several dining areas, outside and inside and on the inbuilt veranda. The Breakfast room seats 10 adults.

There are several food shops, the nearby ICA for instance can do catering for parties and there is also a delicatessen boutique and a pizzeria with view over the river that goes through the village.

There are many nearby places of interest such as: The Hanseatic Town of Kalmar with its beautiful castle by the sea. Öland, a beautiful island where the royal family have their summer residence and there are long wonderful sandy beaches and is a Dinosaur theme park for children. Gothenburg, with the largest fun fair in the country and its many other attractions. There are several deer parks nearby our house as well as Kolmorden, the largest zoo in Sweden.
