About our home

When I first walked into the apartment, I felt like I was back in Amsterdam. The high ceilings, the chandelier and the hidden garden give this apartment the homey feeling I was looking for. I have decorated it with chalet style furniture, so lots of earth tones, wood and sheep skins, to give a nice and warm feel to the place.
The main bedroom has a king-size bed, wardrobe with big mirror and looks out over the garden. there is an extra mattress under the bed which also sleeps 2.
The second bedroom is also the office, with a 120 wide bed, open wardrobe and a big desk to work on,
The dining/living-room has a big dining table which seats 6 people, and two sofas to lounge on.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need; Build-in oven, microwave, kitchen-aid, blender and so on.
In the bathroom you will find a large bath-top with rain shower and two sinks. The toilet is also in here.
When you go out on the balcony through the living-room, you enter the garden.
Here you will find two lounges and a big outdoor dining table. A little oasis in the middle of town.
Most important, jack the cat resides here. So beware that you will have a furry roommate on your stay.

Although its close to the old town, it is a quiet area, and within 10 min you are in a forest, 1h to the mountains. Bern is a small town in general!
