About our home

Minimalistic and tidy 1 bedroom apartment in the heart of Geneva, Switzerland.

1940's building in vibrant neighborhood. We really love the details in our apartment unit--hardwood floors, crown molding ceilings, original clawfoot soaking tub--European craftsmanship and charm. Our kitchen is well appointed for nights spent in, there's a cute little balcony in our bedroom, and our furniture is mostly vintage mid-century modern design. Hand-made, organic mattress, Swiss wool pillows + duvets, organic cotton bed linens and blackout curtains ensure a restorative night's rest.

We don't have a TV but we have a wireless Kodak projector to hook up to your computer. Our bookshelf is filled with our collection of art + photography books.

Neighbourhood

We're right next to the Tuesday, Friday and Sunday farmer's markets, the Wednesday and Saturday flea markets, the old town and all of its lovely restaurants, museums and shops is a 10-minute walk, and the lake is just a 15-minutes away.

Plain palais is an artsy district--there's all of the galleries on Rue des Bains, as well as a variety of cute cafes and bars to choose from.

Geneva is an adorable, Swiss city. Think: clean air, mountain backdrops, luxury vintage shops, cute cafes and a sauna (and fondue!) on the lake. It's a great launching pad for weekend trips around Europe--Paris is a 3-hour train ride--and the French Alps are 20 minutes by bus for some winter sports.
