About our home

Built in 2009, our lovely chalet apartment is perfectly positioned to make the most of everything Grimentz has to offer. You can park the car in the underground car park and you won’t need it again for the rest of your stay. The ski lifts, shops, restaurants and village centre are all less than 5 minutes walk. The ice rink, tennis courts (in summer) and kids playground are right next door..

The apartment has 2 living spaces, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Grimentz is a picture perfect Swiss village in the Val d’Anniviers that dates back to the 15th century. Set at 1600m at the end of a winding mountain road, the area has a great snow record with skiing up to 3000m.

The centre of the old village is traffic free and full of old barns, dark wooden chalets and narrow lanes giving the village a unique atmosphere.

The Val d’Anniviers is simply traditional Switzerland in summer. In each of the main villages the old chalets are adorned with red geraniums and quaint old Valais hay barns are everywhere.

The Val d'Anniviers has a total of 200km of pistes spread across five main villages of Grimentz, Zinal, St Luc, Chandolin and Vercorin. A new cable car now links Grimentz and Zinal, while a free ski shuttle bus service links to the other villages. Grimentz has a good variety of slopes, some highly rated black runs and a reputation for some of the best off-piste on offer in the Alps.

Buzzy restaurants
Grimentz has a good choice of restaurants, serving traditional and rustic Swiss cuisine, as well as a couple of hotels and cosy bars.
Spot of exercise
In summer, there are endless hiking trails and over 350km of mountain biking trails winding between forests and lakes, all enjoying a spectacular Alpine backdrop. Other activities in the area include rock climbing, a high rope adventure course, paragliding, archery, fishing, swimming, football and tennis.
Day tripping
In summer, we recommend a trip to the nearby Moiry dam and Glacier. You can hike to the Cabane de Moiry for lunch and enjoy the views looking across the glacier.
