About our home

South facing chalet with uninterrupted panoramic views and only 50metres from the ski piste. Open wood fire, 42” flat screen TV, Sky, DVD and Wifi. Well stocked with games, books, DVDs.
Piste runs directly to Gryon telecabine. Private garden.
Year round glacier skiing and beautiful hiking routes from the back door.
A truly tranquil, beautiful chalet with unbeatable views and a great location.

A very spacious chalet. Two double bedrooms upstairs with their own ensuite bathrooms (with baths). A further double bedroom downstairs with ensuite shower and toilet, and a double bedded room with ensuite bathroom (with bath). Fantastic large sitting room with dining with open fire place. Lovely kitchen with separate dining area. A great chalet for one or two families sharing or for a group of adults looking to escape for a fun filled few days.

More about us

  1. We are a retired couple with grown up young who have children themselves. We live in the Cotswolds in a beautiful old Manor House which once belonged to Queen Catherine Parr (a wife of Henry V111) We have owned our chalet in Switzerland for almost twenty years and we all spend as much time as possible there both in the Summer and Winter

  2. Richard is a Chartered Accountant, an Historian and a writer whose interests include Tennis,Skiing, Golf and riding. His wife is an Artist

  3. Our tastes perhaps veer to the traditional with art being a significant interest

Day tripping
Jungfraujoch - the 'top' of Europe and Europe's highest altitude railway station Matterhorn - the most recognized mountain in the Swiss Alps Chamonix - one of the most famous mountain villages at the base of Mont Blanc with some excellent skiing opportunities including the famous Vallee Blanche and the 'Haute Route'. 1 hr 20 minutes drive from Villars. Verbier - ski the 'Mont Fort' and 'Tortin'. Only 1 hrs drive away to the telecabine at 'La Chable' Geneva - a small international metropolis with great shopping and sights on the lake. Glacier 3000 - year round skiing and only 50 minutes drive or ski away! Servion Zoo - open all year round. The Alpine Marecottes Zoo - see Chamonix, ibex, lynx, bears and eagles. Berne - the country's capital city with stunning medieval architecture.
